Der ideologische Antiamerikanismus - die kleine Schwester des Antisemitismusverdachts - mag im nationalkonservativen und rechtsextremen Lager Triumphe feiern, aber die europäischen NATO-Staaten werden noch gebraucht.
Auch wenn Donald und Wladimir eine Bromance zwischen echten Kerlen unterhalten, haben bewährte Feindbilder in den USA noch lange nicht ausgedient. Der epochale Krieg, in dem die hegemoniale Kontrolle über die eurasische Landmasse als erster Preis ausgelobt wurde, wurde nicht abgesagt, sondern angesichts aktueller Brandgefahr bestenfalls zurückgestuft, denn er findet auch in Washington zahlreiche Fürsprecher:innen etwa im neokonservativen Lager.
