The Details Behind US President Trump’s Primetime Speech
Since February 28, the Islamic terrorist regime of Iran has been heavily decimated by the joint US-Israel military operations. To date, almost all of Iran’s senior leadership were eliminated, their navy and air force have been devastated, their military/industrial/government sites have been struck, and their new so-called supreme leader could not even show himself physically to his people. While it is still able to launch missiles at different states in the Middle East, Iran has been weakened dramatically and its wicked regime is clearly down on its knees.
Since the beginning, it was made clear that the joint operations were to bring down the Islamic terrorist regime, disarm it and pave the way for the oppressed Iranians to take their country back. P3 Million In Fuel Saved By Muntinlupa City Government
As the prices of fuel have skyrocketed nationwide, the City Government of Muntinlupa managed to save P3 million worth of fuel in a 2-week period as a result of local energy conservation measures, according to a Manila Bulletin news report.
To put things in perspective, posted below is an excerpt from the news report of the Manila Bulletin. Some parts in boldface…
The Muntinlupa City government has saved 31,000 liters of fuel, equivalent to P3 million, in two weeks as part of its energy conservation measures.
“Happy to report na mahigit 31,000 liters o katumbas na P3 milyon na halaga ng fuel ang natipid ng Pamahalaang Lungsod sa loob lamang ng dalawang linggo mula nang ipatupad natin ang austerity at energy conservation measure (Happy to report that the City Government has saved more than 31,000 liters or the equivalent of P3 million worth of fuel in just two weeks since we implemented austerity and energy conservation measures),” Mayor Ruffy Biazon announced.
The city government implemented the measures in compliance with the directive of Malacañang to all government agencies to implement austerity measures due to the Middle East crisis.
Biazon thanked employees of city and national government offices, including the police, fire station, who cooperated in the prudent use of resources.
Included in the city government’s measures is the strategic planning of vehicle trips and strict implementation of “official use only” for government vehicles.
He said in electricity, the city government is expected to save on consumption.
“Nagpatupad tayo ng compressed 4-day work week (maliban sa frontline offices at responders), itinakda ang thermostat sa 24°C (binawasan din nang dalawang oras ang paggamit ng aircon sa lahat ng tanggapan at ang pagpatay ng ilang ilaw sa mga tanggapan sa City Hall), at naglatag ng iba pang energy conservation measures sa ating mga tanggapan (We have implemented a compressed 4-day work week (except for frontline offices and responders), set the thermostat to 24°C (also reducing the use of air conditioning in all offices by two hours and turning off some lights in offices at City Hall), and implemented other energy conservation measures in our offices),” the mayor said.

I Love Israel: Further Israel-Philippines Cybersecurity Partnerships And Agreements Confirmed
Cybersecurity in the Philippines will be enhanced as further cybersecurity partnerships and agreements between Israel and the Philippines are underway, according to a news report by GMA News.

Israel is seeking to expand its cybersecurity presence in the Philippines, saying the latter is one of the most “attacked” countries in Southeast Asia.
“One of the sectors that we identified there as very relevant and important for relationships was definitely the cybersecurity sector. I think that the cybersecurity sector, when we talk about the Israel-Philippine relationship, enjoys both the demand from the Philippine side, because we are well known for very advanced, proven cybersecurity solutions,” Israeli Economic Counsellor Ofek Venecianer said at an event in Bonifacio Global City on Thursday.
She said further cybersecurity partnerships and agreements are now underway between Israel and the Philippines with the shared goal of improving the Philippines’ cybersecurity.
“I think this is a great momentum that we’re trying, of course, to leverage and bring to the table more players from the Philippines side and from the Israeli side as well,” she added.
Israeli Ambassador Dana Kursh said there was a need to improve the country’s knowledge, technologies, and capabilities due to technology’s high involvement in the war.
“Cybersecurity is a huge and grave threat because it can impact us easily… It is something that is relevant to this war and we can learn from it and we can exchange best practices to utilize. We can be either defensive or offensive,” she said.
“Cybersecurity is the next war. It’s the war today… I don’t want cyber security or any other innovative tool to be against someone. I want it to be for something. So, we have to find ways to think together and to prepare for not the next future, but the future is now to see how we protect our citizens, both from ballistic missiles and from hackers that want to make harm for us and for the next generation of us,” she added.
In February, the Philippine government said that it had already been making significant moves to further strengthen the country’s cyber landscape through partnerships with other countries like Japan and Canada.
In December, a group of cybersecurity professionals also made a call to the government to bolster the country’s cybersecurity framework.
They noted there were “long overdue” reforms needed to address vulnerabilities caused by “years of underinvestment, lack of coordination, and misplaced priorities.”
In a message to GMA News Online, the Department of Information and Technology (DICT) said that they continue working on strengthening the Philippines’ cybersecurity, which includes cooperation with countries like Israel.
“DICT and CICC continue to partner with the Israeli Government through their embassy to find better and more advanced tools and methods to combat cyber threats. Most specially after the Middle East crisis. No less than the President directed [the] DICT to ensure that the country has a strong cyber defense posture,” said DICT Secretary Henry Aguda.

Israel is a world-leader in technology and cybersecurity, and the Philippines can achieve a lot of greatness with the Israelis as the strategic partner. If you want to be blessed further by the Lord, do so by loving and blessing the Jewish people (Genesis 12:1-3). I did my part when I was in Israel. Also, let me remind you all that the ties between the Jews and Christians are truly biblical!
I encourage you all to pray to the Lord God in support of Israel, to love and bless the Jewish people, and pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Built a receipt scanner with Python OCR and it turned into a full finance toolkit.
5 modules: receipt scanning, portfolio tracking, report generation, job tracking, subscription auditing.
The OCR is about 90% accurate on real receipts. Image preprocessing (deskew, contrast, noise reduction) was the key.

Не знаю, не сталкивался. Могу пожаловаться с ними на одну проблему — их, сука, мало или по-просту нет! Я понимаю, что платформ много, поэтому пилить свои поделки не станут все под всё. Я долгое время использовал #64Gram. Только положительные впечатдения.
В этом году я перешёл на оф клиент, тк он есть в репах и его можно собрать самому из исходников, что я и сделал.
Так что скорее всего в ближайшее время я удалю эту страницу с сайта.

Das ist erfreulich, denn die Versuche der Konzerne und Anderen mit Leckerlis die #Selbstbestimmung zu untergraben sind aktuell recht heftig. 🤢
Auch auf #EU-Ebene wird mit harten Bandagen gegen die Demokratie gekämpft:
Die Grundlagen für die Selbstbestimmung finden sich im Grundgesetz. Insofern ist es eine solide Umsetzung gar nicht schwer.
Deutschland ist führend bei der Entwicklung der "digitalen Souveränität"
und hat auch bei/mit der #DSGVO einen sehr guten Beitrag geleistet.
Da nicht alles ganz so einfach ist:
Bei einer fernen #Cloud haben die Konzerne/Staaten Zugriff auf die Daten und mit entsprechenden Gesetzen werden diese Datenausleitungen auch noch geheim gehalten. 🤢
Hinzu kommt, bei SoMe werden in aller Regel die Inhalte mittels KI (ohne Erlaubnis) genutzt. Damit ist die Manipulation dann recht einfach. Wer dies unterbinden will, der muss ein #SoMe nutzen das ohne Zentralisierung, KI, und Werbung funktioniert.
Zum Beispiel:
ist so eine Plattform. Damit können Nutzer sich frei von Dritten austauschen. 😊
Bei Fragen stehen wir gerne zur Verfügung:

AI is causing errors in my head. For months (not all the time) I was fixing my menu, when js is not available. I couldn't get it to work properly. So today I asked Claude to fix it for me. And it works (only Windows Narrator is annoying, but it's a fallback, so I am happy) but it caused a stupid php warning on the live site, which I didn't notice in Local. It also broke my theme. So I removed the function Claude added, and now it works fine.

Every time I actually fact checked these "WAAAH DATACENTRES" actual numbers, and I've done this three times already, this is what I found;
1. The numbers include estimates of future loads
2. The numbers purposefully conflate the #Ai #datacenters with the existing Datacentres, "the cloud" your #AWS , Facebook, Dropbox, Netflix, iCloud etc and yes your #Mastodon servers. Which at the last check is about 50/50 but it's hard to get real data.
3. The water consumption is very poorly presented often conflating water use with water destruction
4. The numbers often pick a comparison that sounds terrible but in the global scale is fuck all.
Like "AI uses as much water as the city of New York!!!!!!!!!!"
Having said that the trend of #broligarchs just slapping down methane emergency generators on the perimeter running 24/7 is just criminal.
TLDR; The "WAAAH DATACENTRES" "journalism" really depends on the personal bias of the author

‚Die Pläne der Bundesregierung, die Befugnisse für Sicherheitsbehörden bei der digitalen Fahndung auszuweiten, gefährden Grundrechte. Zu diesem Schluss kommen mehrere zivilgesellschaftliche Organisationen in ihrer gemeinsamen Stellungnahme zu den Gesetzentwürfen aus dem Bundesjustiz- und Bundesinnenministerium.
„Wir betonen, dass eine grundrechtskonforme Ausgestaltung dieser Befugnisse auch durch Nachbesserungen im Verfahrensrecht nicht erreichbar wäre“, heißt es in der Stellungnahme: „Die genannten Mängel sind keine bloßen Ausgestaltungsfehler, sondern symptomatisch für das strukturelle Defizit des gesamten Regelungsvorhabens.“.…‘

My self-hosted Forgejo instance has better uptime than GitHub, even including the time my cat knocked the ethernet cable out of my server while I was away...
My current flow: say I want to contribute to github.com/xxx/yyy, I:
1. Fork it to github.com/aaccioly-open-source/yyy
2. Two-way mirror my fork to my personal Forgejo instance
3. Only come back to GitHub to open the final PR upstream

Discovered because I was wondering if there is a #Python library for UK public holiday data, as want something that updates itself really, and ideally isn't some sort of live API (which would be daft)... I mean, probability is fairly high we'll have some random extra one sooner rather than later when Charlie pops his clogs.
