Es ist super, dass #Transmenschen in der #Schweiz den #Geschlechtseintrag einfach ändern können. Aber wir brauchen jetzt mindestens noch die gesetzliche Anerkennung eines dritten Geschlechts und die Möglichkeit, auf einen Geschlechtseintrag ganz zu verzichten.
Zudem sollte das #Namensrecht liberalisiert werden, so dass alle Menschen in der #Schweiz jederzeit durch einfache Erklärung ihre Namen ändern können.

I think that's because when something big comes up social media is much faster at gathering and processing info. I remember when Prigozhin started driving towards Moscow - the analysis of what was going on was turning up here on the #fediverse in real time and it took a while before the press caught up but in the mean time we'd moved on to the insightful summaries which used to be the role of the guest columists or Sunday features .

A-10 Warthog was part of the mission when it took fire and was damaged. The Warthog pilot ejected over the Persian Gulf and was successfully recovered.
Two helicopters also took part in the search and rescue mission and successfully retrieved the F-15E pilot who had ejected. The helicopter carrying the recovered pilot was hit by small arms fire, wounding crew members on board.

Over on Bluesky they are discussing about whether the network is doomed because the active user base is stagnating and/or even declining slightly. I would love to see the fediverse have exploding user stats the same as Bluesky users. Why no doom and gloom over here? It's because we don't have venture capitalists that will pull the plug on us if we don't hit the growth metrics. We never had the deep pockets but what we do have is hundreds or thousands of people throwing resources and money here and there to make this diverse network work. Yah seriously #Youtube has gone through a round of deeper enshittification recently.
I get a lot of recipes off of there, and up to now I have been able to search my History for terms like "muffins" or "pizza dough" and get all the stuff I've watched in the results, and therefore able to locate a given recipe.
Today, I was loooking for this, The Only Pizza Dough Recipe Video You Will Ever Need which I have watched possibly more times than any other video I've watched more than once.
I searched my history for "Pizza Dough" and got some videos I have previously watched, along with some I have no recollection of watching, and nowhere in the pile was the one I wanted.
I dug up a post on from a few weeks ago where I shared that video, that's how I found it. Once I remembered the guy's name, I searched History for "Pizza Dough John Arena" and WADDAYAKNOW there it is.
