Yesterday, I got #Immich running in a #Docker container on my #Synology. Thanks to a tutorial, the setup was quite straightforward. The indexing is now at a stage where people and places can be assigned. While I can’t fully use all the features yet—since not all my photos have been processed (less than 1TB out of 5TB 😁)—I’m already amazed at how powerful this photo management system is. This is exactly what I’ve always wanted.

🎂 The #PédaleVite project is 10 years old today. Time passed so quickly!
At this date I ordered a first batch of electronic components to do some preliminary tests.
I remember that very early design ideas were based on a Raspberry Pi 2, then I realized the Pi 3 was released just one month ago and picked it up for the project.
This was the core of Pédale Vite v1, which is still working and maintained.

When the United States and Israel launched their illegal war on Iran on February 28, they called on the Iranian people to rise up. They then proceeded to bomb not just military targets, but civilian housing, universities, schools, hospitals, commercial buildings and historical sites.
In the sound of explosions today, many Iranians hear echoes from the past: from the Iran-Iraq war of 1980-1988.
In the fall of 1980, when Iraq invaded Iran, I was a 20-year-old student at Tehran Polytechnic University and a member of an opposition group. The first time I saw the impact of war firsthand was in October of that year. 🎬 Hoy he visto la película La Lengua de las Mariposas (1999). La historia trata sobre un niño que está a punto de empezar la escuela y un viejo profesor que le ayuda a superar sus miedos. Sin embargo, la película muestra de forma impactante cómo, para salvarse a uno mismo, a veces se guarda silencio ante la opresión de los demás, incluso si son personas que nos han ayudado. Es una obra dramática y muy conmovedora.
