Signal is now up and running again on my new phone.
#Telegram however is more annoying. After installing it, I first was prompted to now suddenly verify an email address (which I had never assigned to my account before) and after that it said "SMS fee" and now apparently wants me to sign up for Telegram Premium because the SMS fees here in Germany for them are "too high". But below it just had a button that said "not available" and after force closing the app it said "too many attempts".
