@alxlg @adbenitez "reproducible build" is only a one method to ensure fairness of your software, and not the silver bullet. Yes, #telegram seems to have an open-sourced client with reproducible build, but their server is vendor-locked and closed-source, there is no #e2ee actually used in a vast majority of the chats (and the software actually disfavours #e2ee in the chats and misleads the users in that regard), the architectural decisions are questionable. Enough for me in order to not trust these folks.

Durov cita le misure introdotte o che potrebbero essere introdotte nel Regno Unito (identità digitale), Australia (verifica dell’età) e Unione europea (scansione dei messaggi privati), sottolineando che si avvicina rapidamente un mondo oscuro e distopico.

(1/3) Yesterday a "visionary" (read this as FSB agent) had a birthday. He wrote a post about "dystopian measures introducing by free countries" meaning the Chat Control proposal that is been trying to be provided by Europarliament. And also about "A dark, dystopian world is approaching fast and we need to save the free Internet built for us by our fathers".
