If you have a Raspberry Pi 4B running #HomeAssistant and upgrading to OS 17.2 suddenly made all of your USB devices disappear (like lets say… your Zigbee/Z-Wave dongle… the main reason you use HomeAssistant) then updating your Bootloader seems to be the fix (as in “They closed the issue for discussion. Upgrade your bootloader or don’t go past OS 17.1”)

Remember AIY Projects? 'cos I'm not sure #RaspberryPi or Google do - but if you've got an AIY Voice Bonnet gathering dust, a third-party software refresh means it'll now work on Raspberry Pi OS Trixie.

Dank dem "Rasperry Pi Imager" oder "Cloud Init" lässt sich ein neu aufgesetzer Pi ohne Konsole und Bildschirm einfach in Betrieb nehmen...

I wonder why my raspberry pi doesn't work 🤔

Most of the times a pi doesn't work it has something to do with the SD-card (n=50+ by now).
* write protected media - corrupted card
* wrong media flashed to card
* physically broken in half (new one to me)
It happened to me before that it was cracked in half, on close inspection it was visible, otherwise it looked healthy.
Am I a #caveman ?
I prefer a thin-client or #sbc with jntegrated storage.
