The new Raspberry Pi AI HAT+ 2 is a $130 add-on board with a Halio 10H chip and 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM for running LLMs without using the Pi's built-in hardware. But the Pi itself can actually run those models faster (due to higher power limits). jeffgeerling.com/blog/2026/ras #RaspberryPi #AIAccelerator #RaspberryPiAiHatPlus2

Alright fedi, I have a raspberry pi B+ that's gathered a lot of dust. Any project ideas for the old board? I'm especially interested if anybody has had success with openbsd...

I've still one article waiting to be published over on , but time's a-ticking so I'll start my round-up now and if it ain't gone live by the time I'm finished I'll save it for tomorrow's.

So, first, obviously, my HAT+ 2 review, if you missed it this morning. I'm hoping that'll be my last AI-related article of the year, and what an ending it is.
