Man, I miss the Series 5. No, the Cosmo Communicator is not a replacement - I reviewed one, and it was *terrible*.

Testing out a (for me) new music player OS for Raspberry Pi. And it is great !!! Really easy to use, and gives you a nice browser interface to control it (and touch screen interface if you connect a screen). Using it as a Bluetooth receiver and to play my local collection of music files.

@karen With even small computers like a #RaspberryPi, you can run @homeassistant to automate your home. Or #Navidrome as a music player, maybe with #mopidy to sync it across various speakers in your house.
#OsmAnd and #OrganicMaps are FLOSS #OpenStreetMap apps for Android. Both let you download maps for offline navigation.
@GrapheneOS is a fully FLOSS Android distribution with many privacy features.
@fdroidorg is a FLOSS app store for Android.

One of the goals of the migration was to get rid of my last Raspberry Pi. I migrated Home Assistant to a VM on the new server.
The only glitch was I ran the HA restore before moving all the hardware. Home Assistant didn't see the Z-Wave controller, so gave me a default config instead, losing the security keys. (I retrieved them from backup.)
All is working great now, and I can say "good bye and good riddance" to Raspberry Pi products.

New OctoPi server seems to be running smoothly today. The webcam was being a little squirrelly, but I edited some of the settings and it seems to be ok now. Yes, I do want you to continually stream the camera watching my print. Yes, I'm sure, please stop just quitting after 15 min? So, counting the reminder of how to flash a #RaspberryPi image as one of my good things for this weekend. #3DPrinting

@hobbes2208 ich habe ein pihole mit ca. 15 Mio Blocklisteneinträge auf einem pi zero zusammen mit dietpi auf einer 8GB sdcard installiert. Die sdcard ist knapp zur Hälfte belegt und der zero nutzt meistens weniger als 5% der Prozessorleistung. Läuft seit Jahren stabil ohne Probleme

So.
Neuer RasPi 5 hat ein aktuelles DietPi ("Trixie").
PiHole installiert (noch nicht aktiv)
HomeAssistant kommt noch.
Emby installiert.
USB-Raid-Laufwerk gemountet und per Samba freigegeben.
User anscheinend korrekt eingerichtet - sowohl Emby als auch ich vom Desktop aus übers Netz können schreibend auf die Platte zugreifen.
Emby Backup eingespielt.
Jetz muss einmal die Library (aktualisierte Speicherorte) aktualisiert werden. Ich lass ihn mal über Nacht rödeln.
