You can never be too rich or too thin or have too many Raspberry Pis. #raspberrypi
If you run a local Ollama and/or Open WebUI instance in your home network, do you run it (them) on a Raspberry Pi?
Boosts for reach appreciated.

I have a great #jellyfin library on my #synology #NAS .
I have a stupid #SamsungTV that can browse my #NAS files, but fails to play half of my movies in #mp4 and that forces me to browse folders instead of collections.
If you know a jellyfin client I could easily install on my TV, or a simple way (plug it a #raspberrypi as an interface? With a controller?), I would be extremely grateful 🙏❤😉

• Jellyfin (Open Source, keine Cloud)
• Plex (ausgereift, aber Telemetrie)
• MiniDLNA (schlank, nur DLNA)
• Emby (Mittelweg)
• Kodi (direkt am TV)
Was läuft bei euch stabil und ohne Gefrickel?
Worauf sollte ich achten?

The uConsole is a pretty big mini console.

Someone made a simple touch screen phone battery powered (optional solar). 🤩

my #selfhosting started with #PiHole at the end of 2019 when I bought fresh #RaspberryPI 4.
In the next few years there was a lot of different #homelab setups (I'd say around 8-10 "servers"), one of my favorite from those times is Supermicro X9.
Services were launched with #Docker (and compose) via #Portainer.
At 2022 I've tried #Ansible and it was impressive. Pet-project helped a lot with servers maintenance.
Currently I've switched to #NixOS and there is another personal project for that. In current server stack are my old laptop with i7-8750H and 32GB RAM, Synology DS220j as NFS (2*4TB mirror) and RPi4 as #HomeAssistant host
Changed some things in my piinstall Ansible Playbook.
In addition to installing software it now enables Fail2Ban and firewalld.
It also changes the ssh port, disables password authentication and changes some settings for Fail2Ban.
After that it of course reloads those services.
