A few days ago my wife wanted to send £40 to a New Zealand florist. Her bank needed all kinds of info which had us tied up in knots trying to provide it - AND they would charge a Transaction Fee. After three fruitless days I said, "Can they accept PayPal?" They could. Five minutes later, the transaction was completed using my PayPal account, with no additional fees. All we needed was the recipient's email address. Job done. Well done #PayPal!

#Paypal möchte von mir bei unbekannten Empfängern trotz aktiviertem TOTP eine Verifizierung der Transaktionen per Telefon statt per TOTP. Ich habe da aber aus Gründen gar keine Mobilfunknummer hinterlegt. Kann man diese Authentifizierung wirklich nicht auf TOTP umschalten?

After a long restless sleepless night filled with pain, the old man drags his breathless lifeless corpse out of a sunken bed of jagged thorny rocks, unable to yet see and as the classical music plays he drags himself off to prepare his coffee, as his hands tremble he pours in the water and counts the scoops of grind, fumbling he manages to plug in the percolator, as the coffee begins to perc, he shuffles off to the toilet where his bowels bellow out in a hungerous rage, in the mirror a tired old man stares into the abyss, his hair and beard disheveled, he struggles to brush them out and sighs who cares anyways, stumbling back to his bed, he struggles to pull on his socks and pants, he pours a cup of coffee and gently packs his pipe with scraps of tobacco, he opens the door and slips outside, the sky is dark and gray the air is heavy moist and mild, as the world begins to wake and move, not one soul seems to see nor care for the enduring plight of hell the old man is trapped within;

GiroPay war mal (u.a.) als deutsche bzw europäische Alternative zu PayPal gedacht. Wurde dann (u.a.) wegen größerem Scope von WERO eingestellt.

WERO geht aktuell (ohne ersichtlichen Sachgrund) nur mit Smartphone-Apps. GiroPay ging ohne Smartphone im Browser, PayPal geht ohne Smartphone im Browser.
Wann kommt WERO im Browser? Gerade für Online-Shopping erscheint es das bequemer, nicht das Smartphone rausholen zu müssen.

I have not been feeling that great recently, I mean I can't remember when I actually felt good, but between the incredibly poor sleep, horbile poverty diet, the constant pain, I have just really felt run down more than usual, what energy I start the day with is often depleted fairly quickly, with very little effort on my part, on top of barely having food to actually eat, over the past month or so my appetite has really plumetited, I am kind of hungry now but between not actually having really anything to eat and how I'm feeling, it's like it really does not matter, the past 2 months I have been trying to some new supplements and vitamins, to make up for the deficiencies and to maybe help some of my inflammation and blood pressure roller coaster, I have had little difference on those fronts, my water intake has stayed the same and my output seems to be ok, but I am having harder and harder time moving and every movement seems labored, my executive cognitive function is declining, it is becoming harder and harder to do simple and basic things, even thinking this out to put it words between my hands struggling to type and actually find the correct words and spelling them right the first time, is a chore, trying to read anything on screen or paper is a battle between blurry and focus the words look like spiraling alien hieroglyphics, anyways, I am really simply not feeling good and I can't exactly describe how I am feeling either I simply lack the function to, I am currently 25 days away from becoming 48, but being disabled and existing in poverty for so long it's more like 25 days until I am 88;

Today is a great day! After so many years I finally closed my #PayPal account for good… an account I barely ever used anyway. #banking And I don't trust anymore this service, so I’d rather use the services here in my nation that give me the same chances.
