A good self portrait is really not that easy to obtain, you need to understand geometry, physics, lighting, temperature, humidity, distance, time, focal points, framing, you have to really know your gear and have a completed vision of that portrait in you mind already, this one, was captured with #Nikon D5600 using a #Kamero f2.8 135mm full raw full manual, @ ~3.8-4m 1/800 ISO1000 F5.6, this lens so much fun to use but it is also very hard to obtain a clean focus with, and being full manual and a self portrait knowing your numbers is vital, now not everyone may appreciate this #selfportrait nor the thought and work that goes into producing it, but you can not deny that knowing how to truly capture a subject truly takes vision, talent and true skill;

Yet another morning in where the old man after a sleepless night of restless pain, drags his lifeless breathless corpse out of a sunken bed of jagged rocky thorny shards of glassy steel, as the classical music plays and unable to yet see he scrapes along the floor to prepare his coffee, with his trembling hands he pours in the water and counts the scoops of grind then fumbling he manages to plug in the percolator, as the coffee begins to perc he shuffles off to the toilet, his bowels bellow out in a fit of hungerous rage, in the mirror the eternal gaze into the abyss shows a man void of existence, his hair and beard both greasy and disheveled, he disrobes and enters the shower, the piping hot water brings no relief to a stiff body, as he brushes his teeth the steaming water pours over his head, he begins to wash his hair and beard struggling to work out the tangled mess, then to wash his body his hands fail to maintain grasp of the soap, it becomes a game of cat and mouse just to cleanse himself, the ordeal leaves him exhausted and frustrated, he dries off and exits the shower only to begin the arduous task of brushing out his hair and beard, completely robbed of any strength he stumbles back to his bed, where he struggles to pull on his clean undergarments, socks pants and shoes, he gets up and pours a cup of coffee as his hands shake, gently he packs his pipe with scraps of tobacco, and slips out the door, the morning is mild and moist as the sun is shining and the world is moving, not a soul cares for the hellish plight of life the old man is forced to endure for yet another day;

Update:
- gave up yesterday because bank cantdo transfers at night apparently (to refill card)
- PayPal still hasn't refunded me
- I straight up can't log in, it just says "we're having trouble confirming it's you" with no further actions available to me
- the support line opens in an hour, but that's only an hour before the discount period ends
- I tried paying with card again and this time it worked!
