Climate change is real, however the amount humans have contributed is nominal at best, our folly comes from refusing to understand Earth's natural cycles, and how that pertains to us, massive data farms raise the ground temps for a very large area surrounding them, when natural weather moves in and meets that warmer area, the storms are more intense than they would otherwise be, the resulting destruction is part nature being nature and part human error to understand the consequences of our actions, polar ice has always melted and rises sea levels, then refreezes and reduces sea levels, humans have been dumb enough to build when the tides are low then freak out when natural cycles flood their infrastructure, wildfires have always burned it is nature's way of clearing out the dead and making way for new growth, humans have been dumb enough to move into areas of nature without understanding that and without assisting nature by purging the dead overgrowth and placing their environments into natures natural path which is amplified by our own folly, the roads we have carved into the surface have allowed city centers and even rural areas to maintain contain and rise ground temperatures beyond what is natural, we have through lack of foresight and good planet stewardship have created a problem that minus humans would not actually affect the natural order of the earth, it is man and his greed and arrogance to think we can control the natural order that brings destruction upon our own creations, ocean temps rise and fall naturally, but the steady constant incline are a result of constant shipping on the waters and flights over the waters, without mans need to generate wealth through global commerce, the oceans would balance themselves and maintain the global weather systems, again climate change is real, but the effects we experience are a direct result of our own making; Just the ramblings and thoughts of no one you ever took the time to understand;

Reengineering personal and public transit vehicles, start with the road, rip it plum out, replace with high quality metal slag, along with a complex system of magnets that alternate between attracting and repelling, then cover with high density solar panels, to power the magnets, then along both the center median and sides of the roads add turbines that harness the winds of passing vehicles to maintain charge, all vehicles lose their engines, and wheels and are replaced with repelling magnets that will both hover and get pulled along the road, every vehicle will travel at a consistent speed, removing the need for traffic lights and greatly reducing the potential for accidents, a constant flow of traffic that powers itself;

After a sleepless night wrought with pain and restlessness the old man drags his stiff breathless lifeless corpse out of a sunken bed of jagged shards of thorny steel, unable to yet see as the classical music plays he scrapes himself across the floor to prepare his coffee, as his hands tremble and shake he pours in the water counts the scoops of grind and after fumbling he manages to plug in the percolator, as his coffee begins to perc he shuffles off to the toilet where his bowels bellow out in a hungerous rage, in the mirror the blank gaze into the abyss reflects his exhaustion and his disheveled hair and beard, struggling he manages to slightly tame it, stumbling back to his bed he struggles to pull on his socks pants and boots, he pours a cup of coffee and gently packs his pipe with scraps of tobacco, he stumbles out the door, the morning is dark thunder in the distance, the air is moist and mild as the world begins to wake not a soul cares for the turmoil and plight of a hellish life the old man is forced to endure yet another day;

If I had the capital and resources some billionaires have, I would not only be living on Mars, but actively vacationing on and colonizing Europa, the problem with today's "science" is instead of tearing down the walls of the conventional box of comfort, today's science is building a "better" box inside of it; It was a hurdle to take a bike with a kite attached to it , to actually reaching the moon, and "science" did so in an infantile amount of time comparatively, likewise, we went from sending morse code over a copper line to having computers in our pockets that can reachout all across the globe in the same amount of infantile amount of time; Intellect has left the abstraction of actual progress, for the stability of mediocrity and the comfort of conformity;

@mutualaid bump, My family of 5 hasn't eaten in 2 days while we await my sisters promotion. It should be any day now, but we're starving in the meantime.
