For the wilting sun fades into darkness as the cosmos consumes the fragmented array of a desolate solar system, for the heavens waged war upon it's own creation, tearing planets apart like wet paper, it's sole star was extinguished like a candle in the wind, for all majestic beauty the universe erased, upon the judgment for a single species, entire worlds vacated from time, to see the heavens tear apart the cosmic sky and render the celestial bodies no more, an awe inspiring horror to see, but for if you existed upon this plain it was easy to see, for all eternity a void in space becomes a distant memory;

After another sleepless night of constant pain, the old man drags his breathless lifeless stiff corpse out of a sunken bed of jagged shards of thorny glass, unable to yet see as the classical music plays, he scrapes himself across the floor to prepare his coffee, as his hands tremble he pours in the water and counts the scoops of grind, fumbling he manages to plug in the percolator, as the coffee begins to perc he shuffles off to the toilet, where his bowels bellow out in a blood curdling hungerous rage, in the mirror a man stares into the abyss his hair and beard disheveled from a restless night, stumbling back to his bed he struggles to pull on his socks, pants and shoes, he pours a cup of coffee and gently packs his pipe with scraps of tobacco, he pulls on his coat and slips out the door, the morning is dark the sun is not even trying to yet rise, the air is mild and as the world begins to wake, not a single soul even tries to care for the enduring hell the old man must face yet another day;

Sure would have been nice to have some pizza, ice cream, some chips, maybe some cold beer or whisky neat, yesterday as it was my 48th birthday, but not only could I not raise the money I desperately need to live each day, there was no way I would have been able to celebrate another rather depressing day in isolation, here it is another day almost over and my second day of being 48, on top of no sleep again last night I have been in pain all day again, and yet another day in a rather bleak hellish existence, yea no one really cared to notice my birthday, no one really cares to notice my needs, no one really cares beyond 2 feet and 2 minutes in front of them, another year I get to endure, not my most exciting outlook, as it will just be more turmoil, suffering and struggling, existing out of spite at this point because that's really all I can do;

My dad is in tremendous pain, relating to his MS currently. He's prescribed a medication to alleviate some pain & symptoms, but we cannot afford it. Right now, he cannot move.
