I finally figured out mention and keyword notifications from encrypted rooms in Element X on iOS. I have no idea why it works out of the box in desktop Element, but for Element X on iOS, you need to enable an experimental feature. Yet I’m happy. With added spaces and room invites support, Element X becomes more and more usable.
To enable, you should add this to your ’homeserver.yaml’:
experimental_features:
msc4028_push_encrypted_events: true

I love @jellyfin.
I don't love that the official "trouble shooting" forum is a #Matrix chat room where not even threading is used. It's not helped by the impact of the Discord bridging.
I can't figure out whether someone replied to my question yesterday or not.
I think I'll rather try to debug my problem differently than ask for help there.

Just like I used to move from resource grabbing #jabref to #reftex mode in #emacs I consider #ement to use just the resources that are required by the #matrix implementation. To get some impressions I really liked to browse through „Is Ement.el the Best Matrix Client? - System Crafters Live“
It’s pretty unstructured but the interested watcher might get some ideas about her own review. The author uses the help screen as kind of an outline.
I don’t know what is is like watching it directly on uTube; might involve a lot of commercials. Until these guys turn to peerTube I‘m redirecting every video to the duckPlayer.
