The Scottish Outdoor Club has been around since 1938, and is located in the North East of Inchmurrin Island on Loch Lomond. Inchmurrin Island is actually the largest freshwater island in the UK, reaching modest heights of 89 metres. The spot was also home to a deer park of the Dukes of Montrose, as well as a 7th-century monastery with a chapel dedicated to Saint Mirin.

**Bush weekender transforms into fulltime nudist camp**

It's a crisp 20 degrees when Jody and Michael, wearing nothing but shoes and clutching mugs of coffee, soak up the winter sun.
"Perfect day to be nude," Michael says.
When people think of nudism, he says, they often picture postcard-perfect beaches or serene forests.
But what about swathes of rugged Queensland bush, where the only neighbours are cattle herds and coal mines?
Here, on 140 hectares of Queensland bushland near Miles, 340 kilometres north-west of Brisbane, Michael van West, 53, and Jody Airs, 47, have built their naturist Eden.
The only dress code? Thongs — of the flip-flop variety — to handle the spiders.
The property began as a weekend escape — a place to camp, be naked, and leave their Brisbane townhouse, where neighbouring units overlooked their "pro-nude" backyard.
But after Michael had a work accident and retired early, they permanently swapped corporate hustle for bush trails, kangaroos and no clothesline.
"It went from just a weekender and then life changed for the better," Michael says.
"Modern society, I find, is very disconnecting — this brings you back to reconnect.
"Naturism to us is about freedom, being able to walk out your front door however you want … and know you're not going to offend anyone."...
