Another nice feature on the Mastodon 4.5.0 update: more emoji! If you click the picker in the web interface you should see a lot more emoji to choose from.
There is now for example 🦣 which is a lot closer to a mastodon than 🐘

These guys on the #FindOutPodcast are in the midst of trying to get further away from big tech social media. I emailed them and suggested that they join #Mastodon
Other people here should also ask them to join us here if you are interested. Tim does have a bridge at timfullerton.bsky.social@bsky.brid.gy but, that’s not the same.
