So, alles ist vorbereitet. Fake-Business-Account für LinkedIn eingerichtet. So können verantwortliche Personen das Unternehmensprofil administrieren ohne einen persönlichen Account. Und ich kann somit am morgigen Freitag meinen Account still und »heimlich« löschen.
Damit wäre ich privat fast frei von US-Tech: Nur noch einen Mac at home und MasterCard.
Ich freue mich auf morgen, auf die internen Diskussionen. Team muss ja noch informiert werden! 😁😁😁

The best a.m. 🎁 I give myself after coffee and a good breakfast is deleting 3-5 LinkedIn contacts I don't know. I've even deleted some I *do* know. I see them in the "You might know..." section & wonder how they're no longer in my network & then remember it's SUPER JOYFUL to be rid of most of them. 😂 Man, F #LinkedIn, seriously. What a toxic positivity (or negging 4 likes) trash-hole.
Once again, the thing I used to pay big 💰 for (Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft, etc.) are now PURE JOY to abandon.

Apollo.io just got banned by LinkedIn. Let that sink in.
A company built on scraping other people's platforms just lost access to their biggest data source. This was always going to happen.
Hot take: any tool that depends on scraping a platform it doesn't own is borrowing time, not building a business.
At rangelead.com we chose zero scraping from day one. Our leads come from opt-in sources and verified databases. Boring? Maybe. Reliable? Absolutely.

Am Sonntag ist es soweit. Dann werde ich auch meinen letzten Account in einem (im weitesten Sinne) Social Media ähnlichen Netzwerk kündigen - nach 20 Jahren Mitgliedschaft.
Gemeint ist #LinkedIn. Das überhebliche Business-Getue ging mir schon eine ganze Weile auf den Zeiger und von verkappten #noAfD-Dummschwätzern gab es da auch zu viele.
Dann bin ich nur noch hier im Fediverse unterwegs und das ist gut so.

Yes, this is my main social media (no fb, no insta, no x) anything is deleted 2022finally - only exception currently is #linkedin for my business connections.
After I found my peers on Mastodon I never regretted the step - anyhow as always a fresh start is intense but expands own perspective in the long run!

welp, abandoning my #glassdoor account, now.
I tried logging in. 2FA with email. OK. That worked. THEN 2FA with providing a phone number. NOT OK. But I use the service sometimes and I have a google voice number that isn't my actual cell number so... OK.
Then this shit. No opt-out anywhere.
Nope.
I wish I could ditch #LinkedIn, too, but I'll probably be looking for another job for a while, so... ugh.
