Super cool. Getting "verified" on #LinkedIn punts your data (including passport photos, geolocation, facial geometry, NFC chips, etc) to a host of AI companies.

We really need a #DSA review of how #LinkedIn works. I don't think it's entirely algorithmic; I suspect (also from others' experience) that there's a human review, followed by a recommender ban that lasts about a week (which LI has almost tiktok levels of recommender dependency) or non-MS-alignment.
