Impigliata nella bici, Cecilia si aggrappa al pendio della scogliera, scivolando per diversi metri, ma riuscendo infine a evitare di precipitare in acqua. Anche il cane accorre per sincerarsi delle sue condizioni, e lei lo rassicura dicendogli che sta bene. Nei giorni seguenti è tornata sulla questione commentando l’accaduto che, per sua stessa ammissione, l’ha messa di fronte “alla fragilità della vita in modo molto concreto”. La creator si è pure scusata per non aver indossato il casco nel video, definendo la sua scelta di non indossarlo “un errore”. Il progetto, intitolato “Buffy the Vampire Slayer: New Sunnydale”, avrebbe visto Ryan Kiera Armstrong nei panni della nuova cacciatrice, con la star della serie originale Gellar che avrebbe ripreso il ruolo di Buffy in un ruolo ricorrente. Una fonte vicina alla produzione ha indicato – come riporta Variety – che, nonostante il reboot non sia andato in porto, c’è “molto affetto” per Buffy e la piattaforma di streaming prenderà comunque in considerazione future iterazioni del franchise: “In sostanza, la porta è ancora aperta”.
