Hi everyone! It looks like we’ll be spending a lot of summer with the raymarching series because I’m back with a new episode — the number nine already. This time, I’d like to take a look at calculating and rendering light reflections, which can be useful if we want to use reflective materials. #Godot #Godot4 #GodotEngine #GodotTips #shaders #devlog #indiedev

LIVE! Doing some #gamedev tonight. Shaders and other stuff.
So what do you think of the gun mesh and animations I made? I think it's better than the green cylinder I had before 😅
This was for a prototype that I'm not sure if I'll continue with. Based on the 'ultimate game' I could conceive of as a child, you're presented with an interactive book where you make choices. There are props such as coins and maps that you receive or lose as you make your way through the story. Sometimes your choices lead you to a 'videogame' section where you must complete a challenge on your ingame computer to continue (in this case retrieving a treasure from a first person dungeon)
I have a rough prototype available by request, might do a public release later if there's any interest.

Made a minimalist merchant simulator game for #gmtk2025
First time I've used #krita in a gmtk jam and it went really well!

I want to make a video about how I used godots custom resources to basically build a modular scripting system for my game events, stay tuned!

Slightly nicer signposts without that unsightly blur sprite that was carried across three whole games without real edits. I did this on the Genesis first, but it was fun to do it again here.

He participado en la GMTK Game Jam con unos amigos, y hemos conseguido sacar un juego en #godot
Es un poco cortito y le falta pulir alguna cosa, pero está ahí, y yo ahora estoy cansado

The last #pixelart of the weekend before going back to #Godot tomorrow. This is all such fun <3

By the way: sorry for leaving this account as quiet recently.
My home is still mastodon and I want it to be the place to get deep insights into the inner workings of our #godot project.
It's just that there was so little to post about because so much pf what I did was running in circles and doing company stuff instead of actual #development.
But yeah ... let's plan for more content in the upcoming weeks, because that would mean I am getting work done.
