𝓹𝓲𝔃𝔃𝓪 𝓽𝓲𝓶𝓮!
Been throwing together some #cc0 assets over the last couple days to do another experiment in #godot - not sure yet where this might be going but I'm envisioning some sort of simple Crazy Taxi - inspired high score hunt delivery game.

Whyyyy do some of my meshes import with vertex paint colors and others don't... Blender sees them all, #Godot only sees them on the body mesh, not the clothes meshes.

I applied all the modifiers just in case, seems to make no difference... I obviously checked the "import colors" box in the import.

Trying to do a Bare-Metal re-write.
Got even more muddled.
Can't figure where anything needs to go.
So much needs altering, but any changes ripple through everything.

Need to sort out a simple way of doing UI/HUD. How to have it block Clicks.
Inventories have got a lot bigger, so need a new way to display.

So much to do

J'ai envie de vous montrer le rendu de mon eau. J'avoue que je suis assez fier du résultat. Je voulais obtenir un rendu un peu stylisé, joyeux, avec un style en pixel art un peu rétro.

We did it! Here’s the end of my board game tutorial. Thank you for learning Godot with me.

(As a bonus thank you, there’s two links in the description, one to the text of the main script and one to play the game on Itch)

Worked on Dokibird Derby with some friends for .
Been a while since I've used Godot so there were some struggles.
I mainly coded the build process, UI, sound and other coding tasks

(repost since Mastodon cut off my URL for some reason)

Guess who's all in a muddle!
I've got lots of ideas for what to do next with my game, but not sure which to work on, or even if they are good ideas!
- completely reimplement Workers. Make them independent from Huts. Attach State Machines to Huts
- figure how to do Ramps, with irregular Terrain
- add the Supernatural stuff - possessed Workers, corrupted Goods, defences
- split Tools into types (Saw, hammer, scythe...)
- UI. Just... all of it...
and more...

I finished the "you won the game" screen for Factory Magnate. Quite fun, and again, super super fast to do with #godot. All in all I think I spent 4 hours on it. So happy I jumped from libGDX a few years ago. That screen would have taken me several days to code up from scratch, likely a full week.

(No screenshot because I don't want to spoil anything.)
