Working on configurable board generation to create easier and harder boards for different game states. I'm also thinking of ways to adjust the "friendliness" of the row the grid refills from. This way I'll be able to adjust how the game plays at different difficulty levels through a custom resource.

Devo dire che l'uso di un engine "a nodi" mi spiazza...
Finora ho rifatto il menu (maledetti font pixelart!) ed ho iniziato la maschera del gioco...
In #godot 4.5 with #gdscript I assumed that if you defined a named class with export variables and then defined another named class which derives from the first one, you'd be able to set the export variables on the derived class but that doesn't seem to be the case.
For example if I had
`@export var width_mm : int`
On the base class and then added an
instance of the derived class to a scene and set `width_mm` to 501 in the inspector, when the game runs, `width_mm` is simply 0.
Why?
There is no easy port! Pablo Navarro has been porting several #Godot games to #NintendoSwitch and even became the main maintainer of a free community port exclusive to switch devs. Hear his advice @ #GodotFest!
