I might be doing gamedev backwards, like rather than figuring out how for example quest play out in my game, I start designing how quests are made and make a tool for it. Then I figure out how to use it in game. That way I have to figure out things in detail before I even start doing the quests. How do you all do things? #godot #gamedev

Experimenting with making small textures.
So, cardboard boxes
First pic is my first attempt. Each square is 64x64. Apparantly that was quite common size for a ps1 texture
Didn't look quite right so I looked some textures from crash bandicoot games.
I noticed there was quite a lot of detail in there, even though crash uses even smaller textures for boxes; 32x32.
So i also limited myself into that size. Second pic is my second attempt, and it just is much better imho

Ruby Radiance
Mostly procrastinating, as I don't want to rebuild the entire Inventory system to incorporate different "types" of items (weapons, armour, equipable, etc). I've got "usable", which only works for Consumable items.
Player has a Generic Inventory, but I'd like a set of Slots (Helm, Body, 2 Hands, etc) that only accept certain types
Any suggestions?
