Hawk Hill Manor
Cannot get my head around my Worker State Machine.
Doesn't help that I haven't touched it for a couple of months.
I don't like how monolithic it is, but can't see how to avoid a load of Inherited Classes, with almost-identical State Machines.

Any advices, or pointers to resources on how to get my Colony-Builder NPCs to do what they're supposed to?

I've glanced at Behaviour Trees, but they seem no less complex

awesome Godot Engine plugin idea:

Plays silli songs when you are editing a project. A cat icon shows song name and duration.

name: "The silli plugin" or "the silli playlist plugin"

Another idea of mine was to make the editor super oversimplified to the point where a 6 year old can do things with it, but then slowly expand it's capabilities either through milestones or time until it covers every single complexity. Like a hidden video game tutorial (my favorite tutorials)

It might not work in practice, though. This idea only caters to the true beginners. Anyone with a shred more experience could be pushed off from something like this.

Those were my ideas as of now.
