I've figured out a basic process for the map procgen that seems interesting.
- base map
- add clusters of edges to vary density
- remove vertices with 2 or fewer edges
Spending a lot of time playing with values. I am liking the planet-like layouts, though (even if they're not what I'm ultimately going for).
There is something wrong with my Items.
The two Potions are instantiations of the same RigidBody3D. Yet one sinks into the floor, while the other does not!
The white helmet in the distance uses a different mesh, and bounces across the terrain, sinking in before bouncing back out! :(
I tried making them StaticBody3D, but then they didn't fall with Gravity, and hovered in the air.
More testing needed.

Two issues to look at:
- Making Items in the world display/position correctly, with a Mesh, physics collider and Interaction collider
- Create Item data procedurally (type of item, effects, etc)
