Its time we just say without beating around the bush that the #BlueskyATProtocol stack doesn't support federation.
Content warning:EVEN MORE WORSE?!? Bluesky Auto-Labeling Disabled People As Porn
Thank heck all my pictures that go through Bluesky's moderation system aren't probably being given directly to the "Department of War" that funds it.
A beautiful Tuesday in Montana and Wyoming! We can expect more sun than clouds through the end of the week, but rain and snow arrive this weekend, with colder air and lower snow possible by NEXT Tuesday!

@hiker und #bluesky ist nicht wirklich eine Alternative.?

Toda imagem postada no Bluesky é moderada por uma empresa de IA terceirizada e como consequência usada para treinar algum modelo de IA.

I don't understand coding so a lot of this doesn't make sense to me, but it really sounds like a slow motion implosion over at Bluesky. It also sounds like the person heading it up is a bigot.
"The intent seems pretty clear: Bluesky (the company) wants to implode Bluesky (the service) to drive users to decentralize onto other app views and moderation services on the at protocol, thus achieving their ultimate aim of promoting the "protocol, not a platform" or whatever it is they say."

I welcome anyone from #Bluesky so long as they like #ClairObscur
That's the litmus test, really 😄
Content warning:IT GETS EVEN WORSE! Bluesky Auto-Labeling Disabled People As Porn
Fun news! The AI moderator they use that auto-labels disabled people as pornography on Bluesky? It's connected to an AI image and video generator!
So all art and videos posted on Bluesky not only get to help make a slop machine better, but help make sure all disabled people are considered porn.
And Bluesky's Head of Trust and Safety is VERY cool with this!

A #Bluesky thread that starts with "name an underrated anime" and quickly gets into how Bluesky uses an AI to label images that tends to label images of disabled people as Adult Content

to the few "I don't want bluesky people here they're toxic and bad" voices I see floating around:
please don't get me wrong, but please realize how toxic and bad (and honestly kinda bigoted/prejudiced) saying something like that that makes you look ..
I understand it's scary to see a community join yours, but I don't think generalizing all users of a specific platform as potentially bad will win you anything. If anything I'd say they're probably migrating away from #bluesky for a reason
Going to come clean. I tried #Bluesky three separate times—back when they were invite-only, then again when they open to everyone, and then one more time after 2025 Inauguration Day. Ended up deleted the account within days each time.
Since, I’ve been on #Mastodon and #Pixelfed and still here and quite happy with both communities. Now come to find out that I didn’t miss anything from not being at Bluesky
Part of the reason why people are leaving Blue Sky.
"Decentralized", my ass.
