If we want Black Mastodon here and thriving, we must reckon with the #racism here. Also, Mastodon in particular does not have good #moderation tools.

However, it's not the only client. Sharkey has better moderation tools as does a few other clients. But they could be better.

So folks of color coming from #bluesky due to its CEO's transphobia and racism need moderation tools, to be believed if they report harassment, and safe instances.

Tip: Ro's The Bad Place highlights instances to avoid.

Last December I started a #bluesky account just to have a look around. Didn't appealed to me b/c, you know, so twitter 2015, and I 've been over that outrage thing for a quite while, so I never bothered to use it. Apparently today was a good day to delete the damn thing, so there, it was worthwhile after all. Always happy to help, you're welcome :-)
