#maga sheep don't even know how to read.
Every now and again I'll get into a random argument with one because they have a habit of wandering around #socialmedia and insulting anyone who doesn't like #trump or says something liberal.
They'll send me sources to try and prove me wrong, and 100% of the time it actually supports the opposite of what they think it does, and they simply interpreted the info wrong.
Confidence 100% with 2% reading comprehension.

el silencio con elegancia enseña…
Hay lugares, momentos y personas
que confunden volumen con razón,
que creen que tener la voz más alta
es lo mismo que tener la verdad.
Pero no saben —o no quieren saber—
que la arrogancia no ilumina,
solo hace más grande la sombra
de quien se niega a aprender.
La ignorancia que grita
no busca entender,
no reflexiona,
no escucha.
Solo impone.
Se alimenta del ruido,
de la necesidad de sentirse superior,
de esa falsa seguridad
que nace de no cuestionarse nunca.
Y es triste,
porque quien más grita
suele ser quien menos se conoce.
Pero ahí aparece el silencio.
Un silencio que no es cobardía,
sino madurez.
Un silencio que no es rendición,
sino sabiduría.
Porque hay batallas que no se ganan
con palabras,
sino con distancia.
Porque hay discusiones
que no merecen respuesta,
y provocaciones
que solo buscan arrastrarte
al mismo nivel donde la razón se pierde.
El silencio enseña
sin levantar la voz,
sin necesidad de humillar,
sin demostrar nada.
Enseña porque revela
lo que las palabras no pueden:
el dominio propio,
la calma,
la certeza interior.
Ese estado donde comprendes
que no todo merece tu energía,
que no todos merecen tu explicación,
que no tienes la obligación
de iluminar a quien eligió
permanecer en la oscuridad.
El silencio también protege.
Protege tu paz,
tu dignidad,
tu tiempo.
Te recuerda que no estás obligado
a entrar en guerras que no son tuyas
ni a responder a quien solo busca
validar su propia arrogancia.
Y sobre todo,
el silencio transforma.
Porque mientras la ignorancia grita por fuera,
tú creces por dentro.
Aprendes a ver sin confrontar,
a comprender sin justificarte,
a retirarte sin rencor.
Aprendes a ser elegante
incluso en medio del ruido.
En un mundo donde muchos hablan

Propagandist's Playbook target: Teens
1. Exploit transition glitches. Rapid emotional pivots (calm→outrage→vindication) keep adolescent brains dysregulated longer than single-emotion content.
2. Sustain background threat. Feed outrage, then "safe" content that looks reassuring but maintains low-level anxiety. Brain never fully exits threat-mode.
3. Fast cuts > slow cuts. 1-2 second scenes prevent emotional state completion. Brain processes previous emotion while encountering new one. Adolescents lag ~50-100ms; exploit that lag.
4. Shock hits harder. Adolescents under-recruit threat-detection during happy→angry transitions. Graphic/sudden content hits an unprepared neural system. Psychological impact amplified.
5. Algorithmic oscillation. Detect outrage engagement → feed calming content (incomplete cool-down) → feed more outrage. Keep them in the glitch zone.
Core insight: Engagement #algorithms reward content that creates dysregulation. You're not accidentally exploiting #adolescent #neurology—you're deliberately architecting for it.

@eff Lawmakers who draft/enact Age Verification and similar policies insist that said policies are about "child safety." But anyone with even rudimentary critical thinking skills knows that is not true
The true purposes of these policies are as follows:
-Make organizing protests virtually impossible
-Erase marginalized groups from the internet
-Make accessing vital resources much harder, if not impossible
-Erase anything that dilutes the state's ability to brainwash the populace (Palestine, Environmentalism, LGBTQ+ rights, Voting Rights, Reproductive Rights, Immigration, etc.).
-To "return" sexuality and expression in general back to their "proper" place in society and make adult art, sex work, etc. more precarious, more exploitable, and with less recourse to any law or institution
-General petty spite towards people who don't treat like deities
Overall, de-anonymization won't make kids safe and it won't result in a more polite internet (just look at Facebook and LinkedIn).
Anyone who advocates for these policies shouldn't complain when their ID/Credit Card/Biometric data is inevitably leaked to the dark web and they have to deal with ID theft and such for years/decades.
