Decided the #RaspberryPi was the issue with the #GoToSocial instance misbehaving. So have moved it to the Thinkpad. Apart from changing the executable to an amd64 version, it was pretty much plug the external SSD in and mount it. Oh and configure the Red Hat firewall as it was more locked down than the Pi !

So I put a .dbto file in /boot/firmware/overlays and someting in /boot/firmware/config.txt
# Inserted by /etc/default/raspi-firmware-custom
dtparam=i2s=on
dtoverlay=genericstereoaudiocodec
I reboot, should I find something in boot.log or dmesg that hints that it worked or failed?
I try to get i2s slave in order to use 40pin on pi4

@pimoroni Yesterday I couldn’t get things working on my #raspberrypi zero 2. The demo code ran without errors, but the display didn’t update. So instead I took an old #raspberrypi 3B+ with a fresh install and now it works. So I probably have to do a fresh install on the zero 2 also.

I'm looking for an easy-to-use app to check the Philips Hue log of the motion sensors (movement and temperature) 😇
At home, I use Domoticz/Dashticz to view those logs. But is there an easy Android solution available that doesn’t require a extra Raspberry Pi at my mom's house?

Does #HomeAssistant run on a #RaspberryPi ? Yes. Is it easy-ish to install? Yes.
Should you? Absofuckinglutely NOT. It is unbelievably slow. They've done an admirable job making the GUI work on such limited compute, but the carrying out of actions is laggy to the point of making troubleshooting impossible.
#ZWave may be adding to my lag problems, but experience with #IndigoDomotics and now HA on a server would eliminate that as a likely cause.
Don't do it unless you have no other choice.
