My father has MS and to be blunt, he's at the end of his rope. He's currently screaming & crying in pain - we cannot even afford his meds to help ease SOME of the pain.
I'm trying to get the money for his meds. I cannot stand seeing him in such agony. Anything helps. I'm desperate to help him.

Ich nutze seit weit mehr als 20 Jahren #paypal, zuesrt weil es keine Alternative für den internationalen Zahlungsverkehr gab, dann weil ich keine Kreditkarte wollte, dann weil es bequem war.
Inzwischen empfinde ich es nur noch als Belastung. Die App, egal ob Android oder PC, spinnt total, bombardiert mich mit Fehlermeldungen. Zahlungen, auch für Abos werden ohne Begründung oder auch nur Nachricht zurückgewiesen. Andere Anbieter lasssen keinen Wechsel zu. 🤮

Meine erste Zahlung mit Wero. Funktionierte super einfach.
Wenn sich jetzt auch noch Firmen dazu aufmachen würden, Wero anzubieten, wären wir auf dem Weg in die digitale Unabhängigkeit einen großen Schritt weiter. Warum sollten wir in der EU für Finanzdienstleistungen mit Gebühren und Daten an ein US-Unternehmen bezahlen?

Ich bin schon der Meinung, dass Menschen mit der Bereitstellung von einem #Podcast #Geld verdienen können.
Wie man nicht zuletzt auch an Beispielen wie @minkorrekt sieht, geht das auch mit:
- Spenden via sehr einfach zu machenden #SEPA-Überweisungen bzw. Dauerauftrag,
- werbefinanziertem Standard-Feed,
- optionalen(!) werbefreien #Paywall-Lösungen,
- Live-Auftritten und natürlich
- Merch.
Ich als Hörer kann mir hier aussuchen, was ich in welchem Maße wie unterstützen möchte.
Ich persönlich mag aus diversen Gründen kein #Paypal, #LiberaPay, #Patreon, #CryptoCoins und wie sie alle heißen. #IBAN via SEPA und gut ist.
Die Richtschnur von einem Euro pro Folge finde ich einen guten Richtsatz für Menschen mit regelmäßigem Gehalt. 👍
Wer nur auf proprietäre Kapitalismusbefeuerer setzt, darf sich meiner Meinung nach nicht mehr "Podcast" nennen.

#Honey Skandal läuft noch, aber #PayPal scheint gute Arbeit zu leisten den #Skandal unter den Teppich zu kehren oder die Menschheit ist inzwischen schon so daran gewöhnt beschissen und bestohlen zu werden das die Mehrheit einfach mit der Schulter zuckt und weitermacht als wäre nichts gewesen. Eigentlich müsste #PayPal inzwischen in Schadensersatzklagen ersticken.
Außerdem sollte jeder der den Dienst nutzt überlegen ob er es noch wert ist so teuer wie er geworden ist.

Not all solutions solve all problems, what may fit 99% of the time, often over looks the 1%, most of the time that 1% is greater than the other 99%, yet because the numbers seem opposite, the solutions pushed are the solutions for 99%, leaving the 1% with no solution at all, sometimes that 1% really is N of 1 in every way conceivable, making solutions for 99% not only useless but often insulting and degrading;
