Chilled to the bone the old man drags his stiff lifeless body from a bed of sunken jagged thorny rocks, as the classical music plays he scrapes his pain riddled body off to prepare the morning coffee, as his hand tremble he pours in the water and counts the scoops of grind, struggling he manages to plug in the percolator and the coffee begins to perc, without even a breath in his chest he shuffles off to the toilet where his bowels howl with the pains of hunger, gazing in the mirror a weary old man and his disheveled hair and beard stare back, his arms to tired to life the brush, the old man sighs who even cares, struggling to get back to his bed he sits, where he fights to pull on his socks and pants, getting up on trembling knees, he pours a cup of coffee and packs his pipe with the few scraps of tobacco he has left, pulling on his coat he opens the door, the air damp and cold, he steps outside where the sun is shrouded in clouds, as the world begins to move, not even a moment for one to care for the plight of despair that lingers in the air, for alone to endure another chilling day the old man watches as humanity fades away;

The night was cold and long, the sunken bed of jagged nails and glass had the old mans lifeless body stiff, while in terrible pain he managed to execrate himself from this torturous hell, barely able to stand or move he gingerly shuffled off to prepare his coffee, as his body shook in the morning chill, he poured the water and counted the scoops of grind and with shaky hands he plugged in the percolator, as the coffee began to perc with the classical music playing he stumbled off to the toilet, where his empty hungry bowels bellowed out in pain, in the mirror his hair and beard disheveled, shuffling back to his bed he sat, struggling to pull on his socks and pants, he pours a cup of coffee as his hand trembling in pain, carefully he packs his pipe with scraps of tobacco, he pulls on his coat and stumbles out the door, the air damp and cold the skies dark and covered as the sun has yet to rise, as the world begins to spin, not one cares for the horrible life it's been;
