Trying to setup Federation on my Matrix Synapse instance was a real pain. What a three-hour waste of time. The documentation here is really bad in that regard. I'm going to pass on that.

The Matrix server I'm on will be shut down.
Therefore i would like to migrate my account to a different server.
While I believe this to be possible the tool mentioned in the documentation (EMS Matrix Migration) isn't available any more
So, how do you migrate a Matrix account?
