Sorry to gripe on about this but this #Matrix upgrade has been unbelievably hamfisted. And ironically, I was forced to leave the Synapse (reference Matrix server) admin room because of constant CSAM attacks.
So, I dunno, maybe we're done here.

Aber das sagen Windowsler ja auch von Windows. Oder Applejünger vom ach-so-"intuitiven"-Design, an dem ich ebenfalls krachend scheitere, weil es ich jeglicher Logik meinerseits entzieht.
Nun will ich quasi mit mir selbst chatten. Also ich habe noch einen Matrix-Account bei einem Kumpel.

I'm exploring #Matrix as a #slack replacement. So far #tuwunel and #Element seem to be giving me all the features I use on a day-to-day basis.

einen account eingerichtet, danach kam ein "Sending registration request...
Success!"
Aber Element sagt "falsches Paßwort"

I made a second #Matrix account. The new one is now for all public chat channels while the old one is reserved for private chats only.
It helps me manage notifications such that my phone doesn't ring every time someone asks a question in a channel of a random open source project that I cared about once two years ago.

Apparently the latest #Matrix security vulnerability was so major, that the server implementers had to abide to an embargo before receiving details about it. I wonder how many #Matrix -related projects had to decline, due to e.g. their CI not being set up to build code not publicly on the main branch, and had to dash to implement the patch after the embargo was lifted. @matrix
