#Matrix (= Amdocs Konzern) & #XMPP schleudern #Metadaten durch die Welt #Threema ist der einzige Messenger, der keine Metadaten und keine IPs speichert. Zusammen mit der anonymen Nutzung ist mehr Datenschutz gar nicht möglich. Und die #ThreemaApp hat bereits > 12 Mio. schlaue User !!!

Für mich geht's bei der #Nextcloud gar nicht darum, unterwegs auf alles zugreifen zu können. Deshalb liegt auch nicht alles in der #Cloud. #Musik und wichtige #Dateien sind direkt auf dem #Smartphone (Dateien verschlüsselt) gespeichert.
Aber der automatische #Sync von #Kalender, #Kontakte, #Joplin #Notizen über alle Geröte hinweg - und bei den #PCs und #Notebooks auch der "Arbeitsdokumente" ist für mich schon ein must have.
Und dass auf meinem mit #LUKS verschlüsselten #RootServer zusätzlich eine Nextcloud läuft, spielt, keine Rolle. Der #Server ist eh für diese #Sharkey #Instanz, #Peertube #Matrix und #Wanderer da.

Ja guter Start drüber nachzudenken! Signal läuft allerdings bei Hostern, die wir uns nicht wünschen. Und die verdienen natürlich daran: Google, Amazon, Microsoft.
Und es ist halt nach wie vor ein zentraler Dienst in entsprechender Überseeabhängigkeit und Walled Garden.
Darum versuche ich's immer "gleich richtig". Als richtig empfinde ich hier z.B. #matrix.
