- markdown & html support.
- you can superscript or subscript
- combine them for small text which is still sort of inline
- patch releases get merged promptly.. by the same people that made the changes upstream MASTODON(!)
- switching (& back) is trivial

Yup, can pretty much confirm; AI bots have been weaponized to attack Mastodon. Don't know which bot yet, but it's certainly one of them. Connections are coming in from Tor exit nodes so they're clearly local models.
These models are pretty effective too, they load the registration page and all links to mimic a live browser, (or they're even using a real browser, not sure). They load the page, submit the form, and enter the email confirmation all within about 30 seconds.
... Makes me wonder if I can craft some more poisoning fun to inject on the registration page.
