Me voilà de retour après quelques mois d'absence suite à un crash de mon instance perso (mise à jour de #Glitchsoc qui était vérolée... Arrgh).
Comme j'étais bien occupé, je n'avais pas pris le temps ni le soin de revenir...
La bonne nouvelle, c'est que, visiblement, #mastodon and co, ça ne rend pas accro et/ou dépendant•e !

C'est vraiment excellent et cela mériterait d'être traduit dans tout plein de langue pour que le concept soit pleinement accessible au plus grand nombre.
J'ai récemment terminé un excellent bouquin « Les lumières sombres - Comprendre la pensée Néoréactionnaire » ** (sur les auteurs des #darkenlightment ) d'Arnaud Miranda** !

Juste après #Apocalypsenerds Nastasia Adjadi et d'Olivier Tesquet, ça donne de véritables clés de lecture des « logiques à l'oeuvre » (si si il y en a quand on sait ce que peuvent écrire des #CurtisYarvin et autre #NickLand notamment...)
C'est vraiment deux livres à lire pour les personnes qui sont ici et qui entendent tout la journée que #DonaldTrump est fou.

yikes why does it seem that almost everyone on #Mastodon assume that anyone on there, including me, must be some sort of super smart and fancy experienced software developer?
I'm just fine with (amateur) #WebDev and #WebDesign, nothing more or less than that. I don't want to develop apps or write software or anything complicated like that. I'm also still actively developing my skills.
Call me lazy, but I don't even want to have to self-host by renting a VPS or even just hosting from home, I'm still the product either way whether I sign up for free managed hosting run by a centralized entity or pay to run and control everything myself. The way things have been going recently with corporations (and even smaller businesses, in some cases) increasingly controlling almost everything and giving us very little freedom of choice is proof of that.
I support #developers of all kinds, but please don't assume I must be one like you and know more than necessary just because I point out a bug on a #FOSS app I happen to use a lot. Similarly, don't assume there are things I DON'T know as well, when I actually do (this means: no #mansplaining to me things I already know).
I just wanna focus on the things that actually make sense to me please thank you

next year our #mastodon #instance will make 10 year anniversary, I am glad of the group of #hackers and #political #activist we have congregated together and have made a shield for them to express their #radical and some times not so common opinions regarding #hacker culture and radical politics, that other people specially liberals, can interpret wrongly, as if you can actually really put context and explanation to a micro-bloggin toot 🙄 🤷. But in short we will plan something for the event 🤗
