#Dezentralität, #Subsidiarität und #Transparenz sind für mich wichtige Prinzipien – auch im Netz.

Literally the best underutilized feature of Mastodon is the ability to schedule posts. I am looking forward to the day, if ever, that this will become a part of the main UI so I can finally get rid of things like Buffer. I utterly hate influencers as much as you can possibly imagine, but this wouldn’t just be used by influencers. I’m sure you’re an adult with friends all in different timezones and you have an offline life as well, so you can’t be posting all the time, but you check your feed at the end of the day. You seriously mean to tell me that even though you’re not an influencer, you would not have any use at all for this feature? I don’t beleive for one second that no influencers would never utilize native post scheduling. #Fediverse #Mastodon

So ein "Pixel 8" ist vermutlich auch refurbished noch recht teuer. Erzähl gern von Deinen Erfahrungen, speziell auch, was den Akku angeht.
Es existieren diverse Apps für #Mastodon. Bei F-Droid zu finden z.B. #Tusky, #Pachli, #Fedilab, #Moshidon.
Die Übersetzung läuft i.d.R. über die Instanz, wenn diese einen entsprechenden ext. Dienst eingebunden hat.

I didn't know about the Quiet Public visibility setting, either. And I'm not seeing that visibility option. I see these:
• Public.
• Unlisted.
• Followers only.
• Only people mentioned.
Is "quiet public" another term for "unlisted"? Or am I looking in the wrong place?

Me voilà de retour après quelques mois d'absence suite à un crash de mon instance perso (mise à jour de #Glitchsoc qui était vérolée... Arrgh).
Comme j'étais bien occupé, je n'avais pas pris le temps ni le soin de revenir...
La bonne nouvelle, c'est que, visiblement, #mastodon and co, ça ne rend pas accro et/ou dépendant•e !
