Ja, eine meiner ersten #Mastodon - Erfahrungen war, dass ich beschimpft wurde, weil ich "nur" Vegetarier und nicht "vegan genug" bin. Habe aber schnell gemerkt, dass nur sehr wenige Mastodontys so dualistisch drauf sind. Und mich auf sueden.social eigentlich immer wohl gefühlt...

It's an obvious point that's probably been laboured, but the internet as a whole is a lot worse for content being provided by platforms rather than chosen by users. It mirrors the way material production operates - entrepreuners invent things and then market them to people - but it's worse than a system where people curate their own desires.
#Mastodon is a breath of fresh air and a model to emulate in this regard.
