I started using my new #mastodon instance fraxoweb.social about 20 hours ago.
- I'm alone on it
- I follow around 145 people
And in less than I day, I used around 10 GB of media #storage, which is about half of my current available storage.
For now, since I'm still alone and don't wanna use too much storage.
I'll probably:
1. Reduce media retention
2. Unfollow people that post too many large images

Oh, I finally figured out why my website did not load in certain clients (e.g. Mastodon failed to show the fancy preview thingy on my posts). Turns out that when you put a newline in the content of a header, #nginx pastes that newline directly into the reponse (instead of turning it into a space, which I would expect). Newlines in headers are against the rules and some clients don't take kindly to that.

Il manque toujours à #mastodon cette fonctionnalité dont je rêve, qui s'appellerait : "le post le plus important pour moi cette semaine est celui-ci, mets le en avant" (dans les discovery, hashtags, timelines des followers qui le veulent bien...)
Pas de passe droits, pas de paiements, juste la possibilité de souligner un post par semaine.
