How can I Iink my Pixelfed account in my Mastodon profile as a profile field in a way that clicking on the link from within Mastodon opens the correct app (Pixelfed app) instead of the Mastodon app?
I tried full https URL: Opens the browser without asking to open it in the Pixelfed app.
I tried @username@domain.tld: Opens the Pixelfed profile within the Mastodon app.

Mastodon (and derivatives) suggestion:
If an image is not loaded (because the source is unreachable atm or the image database is offline or whatever), make the alt text still show, so users can see what they're missing/decide if it's worth clicking through to the source.
Atm it just shows a link, but no alt text because a link doesn't count as an image or video.

Die Moderation anderer Social-Media-Plattformen ist so kaputt: Es werden ganz offensichtlich rechtswidrige und verachtenswerte Inhalte nicht mehr gelöscht. Das ist seit Jahren so. Wie man so durchkommt, ist mir unbegreiflich. Aber auch, wie wir das als #Gesellschaft akzeptieren.
#Mastodon bleibt ein guter Ausgleich, der zunehmend besser wird. Es ist nicht perfekt, es ist nicht besser, aber es macht vieles richtig, was auf lange Sicht elementar ist.
