Jeg lurer på, bruker folk feeden fra sin instans (local) eller fra alle federerte instanser (public) når de er på mastodon?
Jeg bruker kun home, dvs at jeg ser fra folk jeg følger. Jeg kan se nytten av local for mindre instanser, men aldri public. Det er bare for mye, for fort på for mange språk? (INB4 språkfilter)

Carino #Misskey, peccato che è totalmente incompatibile con tutto. Bisogna installare l'app "dedicata" per lo smartphone, e non puoi importare le liste degli account dai vari #Mastodon e #Pleroma. Veramente peccato.

TIL: apparently one of the main technical hurdles for universities to run their own #Mastodon instances is to make the instance work with the institution's SSO (most often Shibboleth). It seems there would be a huge opportunity to facilitate the entrance of such major multiplicators into the Fediverse. cc. @Gargron
