After the #Twitter migration, #Mastodon has been my "first love," so to speak among the other social media platforms. It's the most chill in my experience.
I also do use #Bluesky because, well, it's there. But mostly I lurk.
All this to say is: because I'm a bit of a stinker, it does make me laugh a little when the devs over there are all in on #AI, and recently there have been all these outages and bugs.

BTW My connection is rather slow at the moment and I see that this image takes a while to load. It's a PNG with 4165339 bytes. If I run `avifenc img.png img.avif` the result is about 10% of the original size and looks similar. Same with the latest image I uploaded myself.
I should get into the habit of making those images lighter.
Would be nice if #Mastodon itself asked if I wanted to do this when uploading a heavy image. It would save it so much bandwidth!
