Mira, lo de ir contando seguidores como si fueran cromos es la forma mĂĄs rĂĄpida de cargarse la magia de cualquier red social.
Al final, Âżde quĂ© te sirve tener un nĂșmero gigante en el perfil si luego publicas algo y parece que estĂĄs gritando en un desierto?
Los nĂșmeros son solo eso, cifras frĂas que no dicen nada de la calidad de lo que escribes o de quiĂ©n eres.
Una de las cosas que mĂĄs me mola de Mastodon es ese "buen rollo" de devolver el follow por cortesĂa.
Es como un saludo de bienvenida: "Oye, te abro la puerta de mi casa, vamos a ver qué cuentas".
Luego, oye, si con el tiempo ves que el contenido no te va o que no conectĂĄis, pues tan amigos; te vas sin dramas y aquĂ no ha pasado nada.
Pero ese gesto inicial de dar una oportunidad sin mirar si el otro tiene mil seguidores o cinco me parece de una salud mental increĂble.
Ir de "influencer" por la vida midiendo el ratio de gente a la que sigues frente a la que te sigue es, sinceramente, una pĂ©rdida de tiempo y energĂa.
AsĂ no se llega a ningĂșn lado, porque te olvidas de lo mĂĄs importante: la conversaciĂłn, el intercambio y el conocer gente interesante que igual no tiene un perfil pulido pero que suelta verdades como puños.
En el momento en que dejas de mirar el contador y empiezas a mirar a las personas, la experiencia cambia por completo.
Menos postureo de cifras y mĂĄs conexiones reales, que para eso estamos aquĂ.
