The #Republican's proposal to require consent for collecting sensitive personal information is totally adequate. Only if your plan is like mine, boil my life down to 0 apps, work email, an annual candy bar burner phone, Linux and personal visits to the doctor, pharmacy and bank, etc. Oh, and the two Ms, #mastodon and #meshtastic. There are #economic and #political cases to withdraw from corrupt #USA institutions to the maximal degree possible. #privacy

My children, Jouri and Hamza, are all I have in this life, but I'm overwhelmed by life's challenges and donations have almost dried up. I'm struggling to meet their daily needs. Any support, no matter how small, would make a huge difference in their lives.

Sometimes i just miss people i followed on #twitter. I delete my profile several times and everytime i came back all these people where still there. Like coming back home. Even if i was just listening. I am happy that #nitter helps to bring back some good memories. And i am more happy that #mastodon feels the same. Thank you for everyone around. I don’t know what @jerry@infosec.exchange has against me, but they always blacklist my account. I’ve asked about it and never received a reply.
From what I understand, they do this to a number of other people — it’s not just me.
The issue is that their 11,000+ users are unaware that their admin filters who they can and cannot follow. It would be one thing if they were filtering out hate speech, spam, and the usual nonsense. But people like me are pro-LGBTQ+, support trans rights and women’s rights, and are more progressive than Bernie Sanders.
If @jerry@infosec.exchange simply didn’t like me personally, I could respect them blocking me themselves. But the fact that they make that decision for everyone means someone you follow can vanish without notice — and you’d be none the wiser.

It's the fringes of the internet where you have to make an effort to discover for yourself and meet the truly interesting people with open minds and hearts.
