Jerry seems to want to be like Elon Musk.
People like me, who don’t post anything harmful and have never even spoken to him, are hidden from all of his users. Meanwhile, all 11,000+ people have no idea this is happening because they’re never notified.
So you could be following “Bob” (just a random name), be good friends with him, and Jerry could make it look like Bob is simply on holiday. You can't see "Bob", and Bob can't see you, but you're not notified and so you're none the wiser.
Some people shouldn't be admins.

The issue is simple: they’ve blocked access to all 11,000+ users.
That means 11,000+ people you can’t follow — and 11,000+ people who can’t follow you.
That’s no different from how Elon Musk handles blocking on Twitter.
If Jeff were blocking me personally for his own account, that would be his choice. I could respect that — just like anyone choosing to block someone individually.
But that’s not what’s happening. He’s making that decision on behalf of all 11,000+ users, without notice and without any input from them.
Again, that is what Elon Musk does on Twitter.

The problem is that the administrator of infosec.exchange has done this to many people, not just me.
If they had a personal issue with me that I wasn’t aware of (since I’ve never joined their site and don’t recall interacting with them), I could at least respect their decision to block me individually.
But they aren’t just blocking individuals — they’re preventing all 11,000+ users on their instance from even knowing you exist.
I suppose this might be understandable if the person in question were sharing hate speech, gore, spam, or similar content. But I’m pro-LGBTQ+, pro–trans rights, and pro–women’s rights — I’d consider myself more progressive than even Bernie Sanders.
And this isn’t happening only to me... It’s happening to others as well. That means if you’re one of those 11,000+ users, someone you follow — or someone who wants to follow you — may not be able to. The admin is making that decision for you, without any clear justification, which feels more like a misuse of power.
That makes him no better than Elon Musk.

But I would also like to provide a URL to his site showing how he suspends my account remotely. I have never been a member of his site, nor do I recall previously communicated with Jeffy before he took these actions.

猫化といえば「猫耳が動く」という、実装に狂気を感じさせるクライアントもあるそうですが（褒めてる）、自分はMastodonからも「猫に見える」ことにこだわりました。
「猫に見える」とは猫耳があり、猫語を話す（言語がnyaizeされている）ことです。これは自分にとっては譲れない要件です。
Mastodonはアカウント（アクター）のisCatフラグを保持しない為、ここでもモロヘイヤに頼っています。最新のモロヘイヤに、アカウントが猫であるか判定するAPIを設けました。
このAPI、実は結構前に実装はされていたのですが、これがバグっていて、正常動作するモロヘイヤ（5.18）がようやく、近日中リリースできる見込み。
「外から見ても猫」を実現する為には、この組み合わせである必要があります。
