Just a week to go until #godotfest I took the whole week off and I'm super excited for the conference, hanging out, and awesome talks.
Day 4
We have a vague approximation of lift, and a pretty debug panel.
Since the plane doesn't currently rotate, it just checks if lift > weight to allow you to increase the y coordinate.
So rotation should be next, which would allow me to use those elevators I made as separate objects when modeling. Might need to figure out skeletons for that.
Also, maybe find some way to base the velocities somewhere in reality.

Well, I can't say I like how I did it, but I did it. This way doesn't let me add borders around each full brick, but it is fairly straightforwardish and lets me do the "overload" meter pretty clearly.

Ok, #godot heads, I need a ProgressBar that contains and arbitrary number of "bricks". Something like this, with background bricks that get "filled up" with foreground color. The number of bricks will vary.
How do I do it?
Right now the answer seems to be "make dozens of textures with every possible number of bricks", but that seems extremely bad.

me: how bout we create a character management system maybe bcs yo dingus ass brain decided to come up with his own whole game system (that is not true actually i'm basically turning rimworld into a pnp)

I have a Camera2D. In on scene, I have a Label as a child of a CanvasLayer. I want the global position of this Label to match the global position of the root object of that scene (a Node2D).
How do I translate the global position of the 2D to the Label in the CanvasLayer?
