I made a little plane model in Blender. My modeling has rusted significantly since January, but PAKOONs plane wasn't pretty either :P

Also, it can now go forwards in the direction it's pointing!

Looks like shit but it works. Really what I need to do is make it "on top" if there's grids.

I don't know if that's possible with a single mesh. It's probably easiest to have two meshes, one that's invisible unless there's a grid on it and ignores depth checks?

TBH, I think there's a better way to do this. has a built-in "edge glow" feature I should theoretically be able to hijack.

Dunno how tho.

Clearly there's something I don't understand about shaders and Google is shit.

I just want the range between the camera and the pixel, so I can highlight it if it's close.

I think the problem is that VERTEX in the fragment shader is not returning what I think it will. Regardless of whether I "render_mode world_vertex_coords;", it seems to be something that spins and shifts as I turn in place.

Switched to shader code, and it works except the lighting is all fucked up? An empty shader that does nothing has broken lighting where it seems to assume threre is a bright gray ambient background light?

Why. How do I tell it to fucking do the normal thing unless I override shit?

Gestern war ich im #godot in #wiesbaden. In der kleinen Location stellen drei Künstlerinnen ihre Werke aus.

Ich nahm aus dem Besuch schöne neue Eindrücke und innere Stärke für neue Veränderungen mit.

Die Austellung ist auch noch heute. 14-22 Uhr. Eintritt frei.
