The fact that I was able to slap the .net 8 compiled #Suetum DLL libraries in the #godot C# project, add the missing nuget dependencies, and everything just *worked* is a very much welcome surprise.

Here you can see us researching destinations on the distant moon. The arrows indicate a lead on closeby "ghost site", which is what we actually want to find - but these lesser sites can also be visited and are quite profitable, if you have time.
So planning the expedition is freeform.

I found an INSANE misfeature in #Godot.
If your TextureRect has a modulating parent, that modulation applies to your internal draw calls (like draw_rect).
Transparent parent? Transparent draw call. This rect draws a texture-splat background, then draws opaque boxes on top.
This isn't just modulating the final TextureRect. It modulates THE DRAW CALLS INSIDE THE TEXTURE RECT.
Once the parent finishes fading in, the surface BECOMES OPAQUE.

L'addon Terrain3D per a #Godot de Tokisan games és puto increïble, la veritat. I el de Sky3D també, ja que hi som.
The Terrain3D addon for #GodotEngine from Tokisan games is fucking amazing. And also their Sky3D one.
Been redoing all of my mesh skeletons in blender, moving them to a single unified skeleton (as much as possible).
This has definitely made using one animation for different humanoid meshes in #Godot 4.6 easier, but I still have a long way to go.
For contrast, blending slightly varied skeletons, meshes, and animation in Unreal was almost trivial (despite still having its share of issues).
