@LauraLangdon

My problem is, I just want Git to work like SFTP.

I want to be able to upload my changed files from anywhere on my PC at any given moment, and have those changes applied to the Git server. And I don’t want to have to reconfigure Git every time I move or delete the temporary folder I’m using.

But most of all, I absolutely do not want Git denying my uploaded changes. I've already identified the necessary "issues" it flagged — for whatever random reason — and I just need Git to trust me on that and not fight me over it.

This is why, when using Git, I prefer a web browser interface. It just works.

@jezebelkat yeah, #Apple hardware is relatively good supported.

And for someone who's relatively often on #talks, battery runtime and a decent screen and keyboard is more important than having the ability to build a new kernel whilst taking a shower and shave on device...

Tạo tool gitbatch giúp thực thi Git commands (status, diff, pull, add, commit, push) trên nhiều repo cùng lúc. Tính năng: chỉ chạy trên Git repo thực, xác nhận tương tác cho lệnh nguy hiểm, pattern glob đệ quy, thực hiện tuần tự hoặc đồng thời. Tool Go CLI nhẹ nhàng. #git #devtool #gitbatch #lậptrình #pháttriệnphần mềm

So here’s another really cool thing about open source.

You have an organization like @Codeberg, who runs a GIT service. They put their own privacy policy into a public repo. Today they announced their first privacy policy update in 6 years, and you can just go look at the diff history to see what changed.

codeberg.org/Codeberg/org/comm

So good.

#git

Could you recommend a GUI Client?

kuber.studio/blog/Projects/How
